I liked the outside look and the atmosphere walking in. The lady serving was not too friendly but completely pan faced.. Professional? I'm not sure. My Americano was good. I asked for a side of whipped cream ... no idea what that is going to cost me.. then I asked for egg on a meat patty. Expecting a burger patty and an egg on top. The results were a very flat, very thin patty with two eggs and maybe parsley (which I did not want) sprinkled on top.Okay, I thought a few plants won't really kill me.... but, my eggs tasted like fish... now I'm not so happy but the lady asked me, I told her it tastes like fish and she stated there could be no contamination.I'm paying for it (hope it's not going to be an arm and a leg) so I'm going to eat it.... watch this space...I do like my little seat in the corner, I'll give them extra points for ambience. Food... not so good. My meat is actually off. Horrible. I'm not eating that. Taking another star from the ambience.Coffee excellent.... I'll put one star back for that. But... doubt I would want to waste another tenner here ever.xxWell, got the bill and I was shocked by paying £. for an Americano with a very small portion of cream. Shocking reaction from the owner when I made sure to tell her the meat is off after I paid. Instead of apologising she stated that it was impossible.... nah ah... I was hungry and sent back an entire patty! You will never steal money from me again. Eeeeeeeuuuuuuuwwww suddenly even the "ambiance" is off.

I had breakfast here this morning with two friends, and it was absolutely amazing. I ordered the vegan breakfast skillet, which was delicious and came with only one slice of sourdough bread. It was so good that I ended up ordering an extra portion of the toast! My partner had the eggs Benedict (+mushrooms), and my best friend opted for the eggs Benedict Royale (+potato scone)—both were thoroughly impressed, describing their meals as incredibly delicious. We were all very happy with the food and the experience overall. The café was also conveniently located near our Travelodge, making it a perfect breakfast spot if you're staying nearby. Affordable, tasty, and highly recommended!Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian and vegan options.

We were searching for a breakfast place while travelling from Canada. Let me tell you... I’ll book a flight again just to come here. The staff were wonderful and kind, they were accommodating to my year old daughter and gave her a beautiful plate of pancakes with fresh fruit and a wee bit of syrup! My husband has the full Scottish breakfast and it was the best one he has ever eaten since his granny past away. I have been obsessed with jacket potatoes, and the one I had was beyond delish, best classic cheese and beans I have since being here!! The coffee was amazing, I did notice that they have an enormous tea selection as well! I cannot rave about this place anymore - all I can say is that make sure to include on your travels and locals need to make it their regular spot. Thanks for everything !!Dietary restrictions: Full halal menu!!

If you have dietary restrictions, DONT come here. They don’t even ask for allergies!Very bad service. We asked them to come to take our order but they said they had to take the person in front of us who actually came later than us. After that I asked which dishes didn’t have diary as I just had food poisoning. Was told very rudely that the omelette had cream. The guy left immediately after without answering my question about the cream. So we asked for the female waitress and I asked again for the wings and was told “obv not it’s meat”. I was just checking??We also asked the lady to check if we had previously ordered the wings only to be told that we can order anything from the menu. Yes we know!! We want to know if it was placed alr!!!They act like it’s super busy when it’s “less busy than usual”. They were walking very slowly to come to take orders and they wonder why they think it’s busy. Guy was very rude. Didn’t give us Tap water until we asked for it and even then only gave us ONE glass when we were people. Had an attitude and BANGED the glass on the table.Freaking bad service idk why the rating is so high. Food wasn’t even good. The chicken was so oily.
